While the Watewater system is primarily set up for street drainage, the City Storm Water system includes sixteen lift stations in addition to underground transmission lines for storm water flows.  In addition, this system utilizes the Corcoran Irrigation District transmission line / canal located along Dairy avenue and along Sherman avenue to carry storm water flows to the Storm Water pond located on Oregon avenue.  In 2008 a new canal was built between 6 1/2 at Sherman avenues to Ottawa avenue - to the new Storm Station.

The system includes four retention ponds.

This division has five Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators.  There is always an operator on-call 24 hours a day to cover this operation.

Please direct all questions, concerns complaints or comments to the City of Corcoran Public Works Director Joseph Faulkner.
