The City currently has five permanent Commissions/Committees.  The Council makes all appointments.  In order to provide for continuity, terms are staggered.  These valuable groups provide public input into the City government and facilitate quality decision-making.  Board and commission members serve with no monetary compensation.

  • Corcoran Planning Commission
  • Corcoran Economic Development Commission - Suspended until further notice
  • Kings Mosquito Abatement District
  • Kings County Commission on Aging
  • Citizens Advisory Committee

In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, Government Code 54972, the Local Appointments List is posted by December 31st of each year.  It shows all current Commission, Committee and Board Members appointed by the City Council.
